Nike’s latest training silhouette, dubbed the Train Ultrafast Flyknit, is the fastest and lightest model the sportswear company has ever developed. Created using never-before-seen technologies and inspired by the most unorthodox of toys, the Train Ultrafast Flyknit emphasizes explosiveness and takes its structure from one of the world’s strongest minerals: diamond.
A new chain-link Flyknit upper, which boasts a diamond-shaped design, borrows from the Chinese finger trap toy; its cables lock down and conform to the wearer’s foot. Meanwhile, newly introduced lightweight flex-speed plate technology, offers “superior responsive propulsion for speed training,” explains Rob Williams, Nike Training Design Lead.
The Nike Train Ultrafast Flyknit will be available June 15 at Nike.com and select retail locations in six colorways.
